Mad Magazine’s Parody of The Bionic Woman

 

I grew up reading Mad Magazine (my family had a subscription) and no doubt this had a contributing influence in my appreciation for humor and parody.  But I could not for the life of me remember if they had ever lampooned The Bionic Woman. Recently my answer came from a most unexpected source (don’t ask, you would never believe me), and it arrived in the mail yesterday—the original Mad Magazine January 1977 issue spoofing “The Moronic Woman!”

 

Below are some of the highlights from this classic 7 page feature. And how much do I LOVE this adorable cover art? Behold... the satirical adventures of Jammy Summons, Oscular and Steve Awesome.
